SC Gamma Connections: Mentorship & Networking

Duda-active.jpg

The SC Gamma Alumni Association is proud to introduce a mentorship and networking program known as SC Gamma Connections. This program was officially launched on April 2, 2022 and it is a way for current students and recent grads to connect with alumni.  The purpose is to give exposure and guidance to active brothers as they start their career journey.  With over 50 years of Clemson Phi Delta Theta alumni, we have a wide range of mentorship, career guidance, and success stories.

Mentors (alumni)

  • We request that you are at least 5 years past graduation to become a mentor

  • This is a networking program, there is no expectation of employment

  • The program will be driven by the Mentee starting communication and then it is at your discretion

  • Active brothers and young alumni will be matched up by the program chair.  If you find that it is not a match, please recommend another mentor more specific to the field of interest.

Mentees (actives)

  • Initial communication has to come from the person seeking mentoring – you.

  • You may request to meet with multiple alumni to seek advise in multiple fields of interest.

  • The purpose of this program is communication, collaboration, and building a network of connections.  It is not for internships or job offers.

  • If you engage in this program, we ask that you communicate openly and timely

Our hope is that this program can supplement the classroom education with knowledge from personal experiences of alumni in life after college.  The other exciting element of the SC Gamma Connections program is the networking component. Both active and alumni brothers will have the ability to network with each other on a regular basis.

We will also be offering annual career days on Founders Day where you can visit with professionals in person.   The SC Gamma LinkedIn page will also serve as a communication platform for general posts and of course expanding your network.
